The other day my girlfriend and I we went to see a friend and his boyfriend. They cooked. Food was fantastic. After dessert and drinks, one of them asked, "What is it that makes your relationship work? What do you look for in your partner?" And I though, 'My god, that's a lame question.' And then we spent about two hours talking about it. Great conversation, I loved it. The concept of 'pretty' came up often. I still have no idea where to put 'pretty' in my mind. To me it's like the bubbles in a lava lamp. They're there, I can see them, but before I understand what I see, they're gone. What is pretty?
